While on patrol, Officer Rebholz, of the Glendale AZ Police Department spots a young child wondering alone in a parking lot. Officer Rebholz makes contact and the child tells him that he’s running away. Rebholz slowly pulls enough information out of the child to figure out which apartment complex he lives in. The child tells Officer Rebholz that he wrote a run away note and left it at the apartment before leaving. Upon arrival at the child’s apartment, Officer Rebholz finds the note. The child is reunite with mom, who says that he does this all the time.
